In-Person & Virtual Therapy for Adults and Teens in San Francisco, CA

Get Started

When you're ready to get started, you can connect with me by phone at (415)-562-7072, email at info@natalieyatespsychotherapy.com or my contact page. I offer an initial 20-minute phone consultation to determine if we are a good fit and answer any questions you may have about this process.

  • My fees are consistent with other mental health providers in the San Francisco area. Before we begin therapy, we will have an initial complimentary 20-minute phone consultation where we will discuss the fees.

  • Payment is collected in full after each session. I accept cash, check, or Zelle.

  • I am an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance. However, if you have PPO or HSA benefits, you may be able to use them for our sessions. Please check with your insurance provider to understand your out-of-network benefits. I can provide a Superbill at the end of each month, which you can submit for potential reimbursement.

I also accept Spring Health EAP—feel free to reach out for more details.

  • I require a commitment of at least one session per week to establish a connection, develop trust in our relationship, and support you in increasing insight and affect tolerance, as well as experiencing relief. I may encourage meeting more frequently.

  • I have a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours' notice to avoid being charged the full fee. This policy is in place to ensure that your reserved time slot is protected.

Notice to Patients and Prospective Patients

Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask me, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
