Therapy for College Students & Young Adults

In-person in San Francisco & Throughout California

Four friends enjoying a backyard fire pit at dusk, sitting on wooden chairs and benches, with a rustic wooden house and string lights in the background.

You may be in college or in the early years after, navigating a time that feels both full of possibility and overwhelming.

You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of yourself.

In your relationships, you might feel alone even when you’re around others, navigating friendships that don’t feel as fulfilling as you hoped, or beginning to encounter the complexities of more serious or long-term relationships. You may find yourself questioning whether you’re “enough,” overthinking how you come across, or losing your sense of yourself in others.

You may notice certain patterns repeating, even when you are trying to do things differently, and not fully understand why.

College and early adulthood can be a time of significant change, not only academically, but in how you understand yourself and who you are becoming. You may be questioning your identity, your direction, or what kind of life you want to build. At the same time, there can be pressure to make the “right” choices, keep up with peers, and move forward with a sense of certainty that doesn’t always feel real.

This period can also bring up anxiety, self-doubt, and emotional patterns that feel difficult to make sense of or shift.

In therapy, we create space to slow this down and begin to understand what is happening beneath the surface. Together, we look at how these patterns have developed, how they show up in your current relationships, and what they are trying to communicate.

Over time, this work can help you feel more grounded in yourself, clearer about your needs, and more able to stay connected to yourself in your relationships.

I offer therapy for college students and young adults who are looking for a space to make sense of what they’re experiencing and begin to feel more steady, clear, and connected.
